Contributions to the history of Protestantism
in Switzerland and its influence (most of them in German)

Founded in 1897, the journal is a scholarly yearbook and at the same time a member journal of the Zwingliverein. It is sponsored by the Zwingliverein and in cooperation with the Institute for Swiss Reformation Studies at the University of Zurich.

On its website, Zwingliana provides free electronic access to the issues since the publication of Publication 51 (2024). You can currently find over 2200 articles available as full text in 202 different issues of the journal since 1897 on this website.

The journal is supported by the Schweizerische Theologische Gesellschaft (SThG) with funds from the Schweizerischen Akademie der Geisteswissenschaften (SAGW).
