Correspondents Database

The database does not individually record the approximately 12,000 letters from and to Bullinger that have survived. However, all correspondents (individuals and collectives) and correspondence locations are recorded, as well as the number of letters and the correspondence period per location and correspondent.

As only a relatively small proportion of the letters have been edited, the data is inevitably provisional. The umlauts ä, ö and ü are arranged alphabetically after z for technical reasons.
