Programmatic Writings: Assertio utriusque in Christo naturae (1534)
Front page: Heinrich Bullinger “Assertio utriusque in Christo naturae”
In this early writing, Bullinger reviews the early church’s Christological controversies and affirms that the Reformed adhered to the Chalcedonian dogma. The Assertio will be historically-critically edited on the basis of the first (1534) and second editions (1537) and will be published in a volume of the series “Heinrich Bullinger Werke, 3. Abteilung: Theologische Schriften” together with three other programmatic treatises by the Zurich antist: De prophetae officio (1532), De testamento seu foedere Dei (1534), Der alt gloub (1537).
